Using SmartestDesk Mississippi Real Estate

Everything the Practice Exam and the Mastery Manual can and cannot do, how to use them, and what to do if something goes wrong.

💡 Quick tips

Your access code (it looks like MSR-XXXX-XXXX) is on your payment confirmation page. Write it down. It is not emailed.
It opens on up to two devices — for example a laptop and a phone. A third device is refused.
Access lasts 90 days from purchase.
The national portion runs on the official 150-minute clock for 80 questions, the state portion on the official 90-minute clock for 40: about 112 seconds and 135 seconds a question. The calculator is on screen on the official exam.
Every sitting reshuffles the questions and answer choices, so a retake is a fresh test.
📌 Every question you miss is saved under Missed Questions on the exam home, on every device you use. Take a test of just those until the list is empty.
An agent's code (it starts SD-) goes in the Agent code box at checkout. It never changes the price, and it is not your access code.

📖 How to use it

1. Buy

On the store, tick the box to accept the Terms, then click the edition you want — Acquire — $349 for the Bundle, $249 for the Practice Exam, $189 for the Manual. Pay on Stripe's secure page. If an agent referred you, their code is already in the Agent code box; you can also type it there.

2. Keep your code

The confirmation page shows your code and a button into what you bought. Save the code somewhere safe.

3. Enter

Open the Practice Exam or the Mastery Manual, type your code, add your name for the watermark if you like, and click Enter (or Open the Manual). The device stays signed in for about 12 hours; after that, enter the code again.

4. Take a practice exam

Choose a form (1, 2 or 3), then a portion, national or state, and start. Along the top: ‹ Exit149:59Review ▦. Choose an answer, use ⚑ Flag for review for questions to revisit, and move with ‹ Previous and Next ›. Review ▦ shows every question — answered, flagged, current — and Submit exam › scores the portion.

5. Read your result

Each portion is scored on its own. You see your percent correct, whether it reaches the published mark (70% national, 75% state), how many you got right, and every question with the correct answer and the reasoning. Retake (reshuffled) › starts the same section again in a new order.

📌 Missed Questions

Every question you get wrong in a practice test is saved with your code. On the exam home, under 📌 Missed Questions, you see how many are left and your Weak spots (the topics you miss most). Click Test all missed — or Test 10 missed / Test 25 missed when the list is longer — for a test of just those questions, oldest first, on a clock at the official test's pace. Answer a question right twice in a row and it leaves the list; miss it again and it stays.

6. The Mastery Manual

195 pages. Turn pages with ‹ Previous / Next ›, the slider, or your arrow keys; Contents ▦ jumps to any chapter. It remembers your page on each device.

“I bought the Bundle on my laptop. Can I study on my phone too?”

Yes. Open msrealestate.thesmartestdesk.com/exam/ on the phone and enter the same code. That is your second device.

“Can I practise only the questions I got wrong?”

Yes. On the exam home, under 📌 Missed Questions, click Test all missed. Get each one right twice in a row and it comes off your list.

“I lost the page with my code.”

On the Practice Exam or Manual sign-in screen, choose Lost your code? and enter the email you paid with and the last four digits of your card. Your code appears.

“My agent gave me a link. Do I pay less?”

No — the price is the same with or without a code. The link only tells SmartestDesk who referred you.

🛠️ Troubleshooting

You sat the official exam and did not pass	Your inbox	A Practice Exam or Bundle buyer may renew the Practice Exam at one-half price within thirty days of the test date.	Forward the unaltered official result to support@thesmartestdesk.com from your checkout email. If you got no email, send an unaltered photo or PDF of the full report. The Refund Policy has the terms.
“That access code is not recognized”	A typo, or it is not an MSR- code.	Check each character (no letter O or I, no number 0 or 1 is ever used). Use Lost your code?
“That is an agent code”	An agent's SD- code was typed where the access code goes.	Use the MSR- code from your confirmation page.
“This code is already in use on 2 devices”	Two other devices have already used it (a cleared browser counts as a new device).	Use one of those devices, or write to support@thesmartestdesk.com from the email you paid with.
“This code unlocks the Mastery Manual…” (or the Practice Exam)	Your edition includes only the other reader.	Open the reader you bought, or choose the Bundle.
“Your 90-day access has ended”	The access window is over.	A new purchase starts a new 90 days.
No 📌 Missed Questions on the exam home	Your edition is the Manual only, or you have not finished a practice test yet.	Missed Questions come with the Practice Exam and the Bundle; finish a section and they appear.
A question I got right is still on my list	A missed question needs two right answers in a row to leave.	Take another Missed Questions test.
“The reader is closed…”	The publisher has closed it for a short while.	Come back soon; nothing you have done is lost.
“Please tick the box…” at the store	The Terms box was not ticked.	Tick it, then click your edition again.
Paid, but the confirmation page did not load	The page closed or the connection dropped.	Your purchase is recorded. Use Lost your code?, or write to support with your Stripe receipt.
